Prof. Dr. K. Chandrasekharan Nair is a renowned Sanskrit scholar with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Though formally doctorated in Sanskrit Literature, his true passion lies in the study of Indian scriptures, indigenous systems of knowledge production, and the historical understanding of these traditions.
His most significant contribution to the field is a comprehensive eight-volume exposition of the Rig Veda, each volume exceeding 800 pages. This magnum opus, published in Malayalam by the Language Institute of Kerala, represents one of the most detailed studies of the Rig Veda in modern times.
